The Pacific Laser Systems Laser Level HVL 100 has 360-degree horizontal and vertical lines that are fully self-leveling. Set the laser unit somewhere that's relatively level such as a kitchen counter top or floor, turn the unit on and it levels itself. If you happen to bump the unit so that its 4% out of level it will blink and let you know its not able to level itself.

Use the wall/ceiling mount for interior work like wall paper, sheet rock, plumbing, hanging doors, and drop ceiling installation.

The only difference in the HVL100 Interior Tool and the HVL100 Exterior System is the Exterior System includes the SLD laser detector. Laser Level Detectors are required if you plan to work outdoors since the laser line is not bright enough in strong light. Also, the detector approximately doubles the range of the laser level.
