By visiting or shopping at this web site, you accept the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AND PRICING

We attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition. We reserve the right to decline any order where a pricing mistake exists or for any other reason.

COMMERCIAL FURNITURE COSMETIC IMPERFECTIONS POLICY

At Engineer Supply, we strive to ensure all commercial furniture arrives in excellent condition. However, due to the nature of shipping and handling large items, minor cosmetic imperfections can occasionally occur. By placing an order on our website, you agree to these terms.

🔹 What qualifies as a cosmetic imperfection:

  • Small edge nicks, surface-level scuffs, or corner blemishes that do not affect structural integrity
  • Light marks, scratches, or finish variations typically found on the back or underside of panels
  • Imperfections that are not visible once installed or that do not hinder the function or safety of the item

🔹 Industry Standard

These types of minor blemishes are within accepted industry tolerances for commercial-grade furniture. Most manufacturers do not consider these issues as defects or grounds for replacement, refund, or labor reimbursement.

🔹 What is not covered:

  • Requests for refunds or labor reimbursement for cosmetic touchups or minor visual blemishes
  • Issues resulting from post-delivery storage, mishandling, or incorrect installation

🔹 If You Notice an Issue

If you believe your product was delivered with substantial damage or structural issues, please contact our customer service team within 5 business days of receipt. We will review your case and work with the manufacturer to resolve it promptly.

RETURN POLICY

All return request forms must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date of an order. Any request submitted after this time period will be denied.

  • All items must be returned in the original packaging, and must be in new, resalable condition.
  • Consumable items, such as paper products, refills for electric erasers, replacement cartridges, etc., cannot be returned. Please see our list of non-returnable products by clicking here.
  • Items that are packaged in blister packs (thick plastic covering that requires the use of scissors to open) must be returned in the un-opened packages. If the blister package has been opened, the item is not eligible for return.
  • Items which are considered special orders are non-cancellable, non-returnable and non-refundable. Special orders include, but are not limited to, custom paint colors on products.
  • Refunds will not be made on merchandise that is:
    • fully or partially assembled
    • not in new, resalable condition
    • damaged due to use/mishandling by the customer

Authorized returns of non-defective/damaged merchandise will be refunded in full minus a 20% restocking fee and shipping. Shipping is non-refundable.

  • Restocking fees are waived if the customer places a new order of equal or greater value within 10 business days of submitting the return request form.

Returns must be shipped and the tracking number provided within 10 business days after we issue the RMA number to you.

  • We recommend that you use a shipping company such as UPS or FedEx that offers a tracking feature when making a return.
  • Return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise advised.
  • If within 30 days the item(s) is not returned, you will be responsible for payment of the item(s), and your original form of payment will be charged as applicable.

Notification of defective/damaged products:

  • We strongly advise that our customers inspect and test any product immediately upon receipt. If any product is found to be defective or damaged, please notify us immediately upon noting the issue.
  • Please be aware that pictures of any damage will be requested. You may send these pictures before they are requested to returns@engineersupply.com and include your order number in the subject line.
  • We request that the shipment be inspected and any damage be reported within 24 hours of delivery to the shipping company and if possible, that the customer note "DAMAGE" on the delivery confirmation paperwork.
  • Replacements for defective/damaged items are subject to inspection prior to a replacement shipping to you. You will be informed of when the replacement will ship once we have contacted the warehouse.
  • After our 30 day return period, any defective or damaged item is ineligible for refund but may be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer will need to be contacted for any details relating to warranty.

Unauthorized returns:

  • Unauthorized returns will not be refunded.
  • Restocking fees are charged if the customer refuses a shipment without a return authorization number or prior approval.
  • Any undeliverable order which is returned to the warehouse due to either incorrect address or the customer not being available for delivery will be charged a reshipping fee and may incur additional fees as well.
  • Any order shipped to a freight forwarder is not eligible for return.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Freight shipments and pickups are arranged using standard LTL services consistent with the original delivery method. We do not provide or arrange specialized services such as piggyback loading, crane service, forklift service, or other non-standard freight accommodations.Customers are responsible for ensuring appropriate equipment and site access for delivery and pickup. Any additional charges resulting from special handling, access limitations, or service upgrades will be the responsibility of the customer..

WARRANTY INFORMATION

For returns which are past the 30 day period, purchases made through EngineerSupply are no longer authorized to be returned or refunded. After this time, products may be covered by their respective manufacturers' warranty. In some instances, manufactures will offer replacement or repair at their discretion. For your convenience, we can provide the manufacturers' contact information for your product.

U.S. Export Compliance

Export Compliance & Shipping Restrictions Engineer Supply sells and ships products only within the United States and Canada. We do not offer shipping to any other international locations. Orders placed using freight forwarders, export brokers, or third-party shipping services intended to transport products outside of the United States or Canada are strictly prohibited. Engineer Supply reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order that appears to be intended for export. By purchasing from Engineer Supply, the customer represents and agrees that all products are intended for use within the United States or Canada and will not be exported, re-exported, or transferred outside of these countries without full compliance with all applicable U.S. export laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Engineer Supply does not knowingly sell to individuals, companies, or organizations that are restricted or prohibited under U.S. law. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders at our sole discretion if a transaction is deemed high-risk or non-compliant. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable export laws. Any diversion of products contrary to U.S. law is strictly prohibited. Engineer Supply shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or legal consequences resulting from a customer’s failure to comply with U.S. export laws and regulations. Additional Compliance Rights Engineer Supply reserves the right to request additional information, documentation, or certifications regarding the end-use, end-user, or destination of any product prior to fulfilling an order. Customers agree to provide accurate and complete information upon request. Failure to do so may result in order cancellation. The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Engineer Supply from any claims, damages, penalties, or liabilities arising from the customer’s failure to comply with applicable export laws or misuse of the products.

CALL RECORDING AND MONITORING CONSENT

We may record and monitor incoming and outgoing telephone calls for quality assurance, training, security, documentation, dispute resolution, and compliance purposes. By placing or continuing a telephone call with our company, you expressly consent to the recording and monitoring of such communications to the fullest extent permitted by applicable federal and state laws. If you do not consent to being recorded, you should not proceed with the call and should instead contact us via email or other written communication. This provision applies to all affiliated brands and entities operated by our organization..
