This Leveling/Measuring Rod by Crain has a nice heavy solid feel to it and incorporates many useful features. It has a rectangular shape with rounded back corners for a better and more comfortable grip. Its' scale width is graduated to fill the entire face of the rod which makes it easier to view in the field. The measuring scale on the back makes this rod a dual-purpose tool. The measuring scale on the back allows overall height readings, which is a very handy feature to have.
The Crain CR Series Leveling/Measuring Rod is made from a strong fiberglass, which is waterproof, non-conductive, and corrosion-resistant. Special molded standoff ribs protect scales from wear. This Rod is a natural for laser detector mounting since special brackets are not required. One year manufacturers warranty is included.
