The Data-Max Data Collector Mount System made by Crain.
This revolutionary system can mount to a pole or a tripod. The position can be altered to up to 26 positions to fit your needs. The Data-Max can be easily mounted to your tripod or pole. If you need to be on the move simply slide the cradle out and into on of our ATV / Vehicle mounts and go. Whether you are using it on a pole or tripod, the connection is quick and simple. When in use on a tripod, the clamping arms may be left in the open position for easy access, and then locked in place when necessary.
The Data-Max is constructed of lightweight, high strength composite material. Its strength, durability and resistance to temperature changes make it the perfect choice for all applications. Its design of the Data-Max allows it to be used either right-handed or left-handed.
The Data-Max has a wider connecting point to the rod or tripod which allows for a better grip and more stability.

The wider connecting point also reaches 220 degrees around the rod to prevent "crushing" of the rod. When a clamp is over tightened on rod the rod actually bends and can cause errors.
The material it is made of will not cause interference with "Blue-Tooth" communications.
