While the model 20 is optimized for maximum accuracy, the model 20 is configured for maximum measuring range. The model 20 is identical to the model 10 except for the length of the tracer arm. It provides a larger range but sacrifices some accuracy (the shorter the arm the higher the resolution and accuracy).
The model 20 is equipped with a fixed tracer arm, and has a choice of either a lens tracer (L-Model) or needle tracer (N-Model). An adjustable pole arm model is available and increases effective measuring range by as much as 20%.
Typical Measuring Range is 13" x 21". With the optional adjustable pole arm, the range increases approximately 20% more.

EngineerSupply recommends the lens type. The needle type is a very sharp needle that can sometimes rip your drawing.
