In order to achieve the instrument specified accuracy it is vital that the correct tripod is used. The construction and weight of the tripod have a major influence on providing a stable platform for the instrument. This tripod has wooden legs. The wooden types have excellent vibration damping characteristics.
The CTP101 Construction Tripod is manufactured in China with Leica specifications and offers a low cost alternative. No spare parts are available for the CTP range.
