Same quality as the DIGICAT 100 and provides depth estimation of the utility being traced with the DIGITEX 8/33 Signal Generator (33 KHz mode) (sold separately), or DIGIMOUSE (Sonde) (sold separately).
In addition to the well proven functions of the DIGICAT 100 the DIGICAT 200 offers a one stop depth estimation. In co-operation with the DIGITEX 8/33 (operating in the 33 kHz mode) the real depth and location of all services can be estimated. An important advantage when it comes to increased productivity in locating and excavating tasks.
Depth to 3.0m, accuracy typically within 10% of depth.
The DIGICAT 200 includes three selectable operating modes:
Power mode
Locates power signals radiated by energized cables.
Radio mode
Traces signals originating from distant radio transmitters. These radio signals penetrate the ground and are reradiated by buried metallic cables and pipes.
Generator mode (8 and 33 kHz)
Locates a distinctive signal applied by the DIGITEX 8/33 dual frequency signal generator to a metallic underground conductor.
