This is the NEW PLS5 laser. It pulses and will work with a laser detector. The NEW PLS5 is a third of the size of the previous PLS5 model. It's updated and is easier to use.

The PLS5 Tool provides a true point-to-point, self-leveling plumb, level and square laser alignment system. Commercial and residential builders will save layout time and increase production on every job site with layout, installation, and quality control achieved quickly and with more accuracy than ever before. With the system's patented technology, you can establish 90-degree angles instantly and plumb from floor to ceiling or from 50 feet off the ground. The PLS5 is self-leveling within 8 degrees, has a safety shutoff feature to ensure calibration, and is accurate to within 1/8 of an inch at 100 feet. Made in the USA.
