The RS-232C interface cable connects PLANIX EX or PLANIX EX-L to your computer.
Any measurement value can be sent from the PLANIX to your computer (PC) through this cable. It comes with a free data-collecting software. Connects to serial port of PC (Personal Computer).
Summary of included software:
The program is very simple, in that once loaded will allow you to store the values for coordinates X and Y, side length, total line length and area. It will also make a simple drawing of the area that you are measuring. The drawing does not print but the data will.
The data-collecting software will work on any PC as long as the OS is Windows 98/ME/XP.
