The Schonstedt 5" inductive signal clamp (TM60001) is an optional accessory that works with the following instruments:
- Schonstedt TraceMaster II (TMS-001-AF) pipe and cable locator
- Schonstedt TraceMaster II (TMS-001-MF) pipe and cable locator
When it's clamped around a pipe or cable at a point where it comes up to the surface (transformer box, telephone switch box, gas meter, etc.), it induces a current on the pipe or cable for tracing purposes.
