Electronic planimeters are excellent tools to use when you measure irregular shaped areas on plans or drawings. They eliminate the need for grids, charts, or calculations done by hand. Planimeters are used by many in the following professions: Surveying, Civil Engineering, Cartography, Architecture, Medicine, Clothing Industry, Boat and Ship Design, Office, Store and Plant Planning, and Biology.

The Planix 6 is a Roller-type electronic Planimeter. It can measure a rectangular area that is 11 3/4" wide or 300mm by an unlimited length and is ideal for measuring elongated areas.

The Planix 6 has an 8-digit readout and operates up to 30 continuous hours using a rechargeable NiCad battery. Its features include selectable English or Metric scales, multiple measurement averaging, display hold, accumulative measurement, and electronic zero reset. A battery power saving provision automatically turns off the instrument when left unoperated for more than three minutes. It comes complete with AC charger, batteries, and carrying case.
