The History of EngineerSupply - Our Story

EngineerSupply was founded and started in 1999 with the idea of aggregating engineering, surveying, drafting, and construction tools and supplies into one combined catalog. The solution was to fill a gap within the AEC (Architectural, Engineering, Construction) domain. Anyone that works within Engineering, Architecture, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering Design, Geographical Information Systems, Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), Residential and Commercial Construction, and Business has a need for the products and brands we represent.

The Internet has helped the company grow into a tool and supply destination for many Professionals. Internet technology allows a company like EngineerSupply to keep its' catalog updated, but that alone is not enough. We remain highly competitive with our competition based on one sole premise, intense and personal customer service. With a slow-growth strategy combined with our high level of customer service, it's proving to be successful. While we cut prices, we do not cut customer service.

With the knowledge and use of the products we represent, along with the desire and ability to reach higher than expectations as a supplier, it is our goal to continue building EngineerSupply to maintain its status as a company that puts its customers first and foremost. We plan to have a continual process of building and refining the people and process that defines EngineerSupply as a company.
