Laser Detectors
If you are going us use your laser level primarily outdoors, you will have to use a Laser Detector (also known as a Laser Receiver) as even the brightest visible rotating beam will be lost in daylight. Since infra-red light is invisible to the human eye, you will need to use an electronic laser detector. Infra-red beams are most often found on lasers used for outdoor work, such as grading, trenching, leveling driveways, laying pipe, or setting concrete forms.
