CST Berger SAL versus PAL Autolevels
Auto levels are a great tool for the construction
site. Both the SAL and the PAL Automatic leveling
tools are used by many professionals in industries
such as construction, contracting, surveying and
much more. Automatic construction levels (also known
as "Builders Levels") are easy to transport, set up
and use. A compensator lock will secure the internal
leveling components to protect the instrument while
in transit. The CST auto-level has a rugged; water
resistant housing and is backed with a 5 year
manufacturer’s warranty. The large aperture will
focus to a minimum distance of 1 foot and has a
1:100 stadia to estimate distance. Both CST Berger
automatic levels, the SAL and the PAL, are available
in degrees or gons. They are available in many
different magnification strengths, one of the most
popular being 24x automatic level. The Sal and the
Pal automatic levels have the features listed above
plus many more, the difference is the rugged frame.
This is just a choice of preference. Both tools are
durable and great tools for the work place. All SAL
and PAL models include a hard-shell carrying case, a
plumb bob, adjustment tools, lens cover and
instruction manual. The CST Berger automatic levels
are also available in kits, which include a rod and
tripod.
