WHAT ARE HANGING CLAMPS?
Hanging clamps can hold blueprints or large documents for storage on a blueprint stand. They can also be called “drawing clamps,” “drawing sticks,” or “blueprint clamps.” They're made of a steel wing knob, a steel clip with a spring, a clear plastic label holder, and an extruded anodized aluminum construction. Their length can’t be adjusted, but you can find them in several different sizes. Feel free to look at what we have at Engineer Supply, so you can find the perfect blueprint storage solution for your specific needs.
HANGING MOBILE FILE SYSTEM
The hanging clamps are shipped fully assembled. And to use one, you open it by turning the wing knobs. You can put up to 100 clamps into a single clamp, and they’re great for organizing and storing large documents into a hanging file system. Insert the clamps into a mobile stand at an angle, and pull back to lock it into place. You should also consider purchasing the optional vertical file extension.
