There’s one problem with flat filing systems for blueprint storage — that the faster you work, the more likely you are to mishandle drawings. Not to mention, the frustration that comes with it. With the pin filing system from Safco, large documents can be filed and retrieved more easily. Once you attach a suspension strip to the document (which can be done by pulling on a piece of paper and pressing it lightly onto the document), you can store it inside a large cabinet that opens up on both the front and top. Each document is hung in a clothesline fashion, which you can push aside to find the one you want to retrieve. It has a built-in color-coding system that allows you to index each document according to your needs, and there are a pair of pins that will allow you to temporarily store each document you retrieve.

The Manager Blueprint Storage Box comes in both a 25-inch and 37-inch model, and each one has 16 slots.
