LaserLine

The LaserLine Manufacturing Company makes Direct Reading Grade Rods in Laser or Optical models. These grade rods are the number one seller in the USA for surveying equipment grade rods, and the reason is tremendous quality. Very well-built, tough, lightweight, and versatile, LaserLine builds direct reading rods bear the true test of quality in the field, and hold up extremely well. These rods come in a large selection of lengths and increments in tenths, metric, and feet / inches. These rods feature a graduated face that cycles around two rollers so that you "zero" your benchmark or sight line by moving the graduated face until you align zero. Once zeroed, the rod does the math for you, helping eliminate errors and wasted time. If you're wanting to use a laser level receiver or simply sight the rod with your transit or level, purchase the laser version which comes with the laser rail. If you plan to never use a laser level receiver we suggest you buy the optical version. We at EngineerSupply firmly believe once you have held a LaserLine rod in your hands you'll instantly feel the quality that went into this USA-made product, as well as the intelligent scale and features of how this product will pay for itself over and over. EngineerSupply is a full-line factory authorized LaserLine Dealer.

Replace Your GR1000T Rod Tape in Under 8 Minutes

Replacing the tape on a GR1000T rod is quick and easy! Start by removing the bottom foot and the top rod clamp, then tape down the dowels to keep them in place. Take off the top and bottom caps, slide out the rails, and remove the old tape carefully, holding the spring-loaded roller to prevent it from snapping. Attach the new tape to the rollers, ensuring the grommets face the groove at the bottom, and align the tape in the grooves. Slide the rails back in, reattach the caps, and put the rod back together by securing the clamp and foot. Finally, remove the tape from the dowels and test the rod to ensure smooth movement. That’s it—you’re done in under 8 minutes!
