Laser Level Tripods

These tripods work great when using a rotary laser level. Some are elevator tripods which make it easier to raise or lower the laser and get the laser beam exactly where you want it without having to adjust the tripod legs. Some tripods are not elevating but still work very well when using a rotary laser level. With a non-elevation laser tripod, you simply set up your beam, and measure to the line you want to be at (ie, a chair moulding or concrete form) then you just measure from the laser beam the same distance around while you set elevations or make a mark, then turn your laser off to save batteries and put it back in its case to protect it before you start installing chair rails or setting forms. Using an elevating tripod is somewhat personal preference but in some situations they are almost required.
