iDig 2D Excavator Guidance
The iDig 2D Machine Guidance System is a smart tool for small to medium excavators that makes digging faster, safer, and more accurate.
Using wireless sensors, it shows the bucket’s position in real time on an in-cab LED display, so operators no longer need to perform manual ground checks or repeatedly exit the cab to verify grade.
It works for footings, foundations, trenches, drainage, embankments, and more. Operators can set a reference point and follow LED guides to dig to the correct slope, depth, or distance. The system is easy to install, works with almost any excavator, and can be quickly moved between machines.
It helps reduce labor costs, prevents over-digging, and improves operator comfort by minimizing physical strain from constant cab entry and exit.
Fast & Simple Installation
The iDig system is designed to be quick and simple to install, making it easy for operators to get started right away. All sensors come in a secure box and can be attached to the machine in just a few steps. The laser sensor clips onto the dipper, while the bucket sensor tracks the bucket’s position. A tilt sensor can also be added if the machine has a tilt hitch. The boom sensor is attached in place, followed by installing the screen inside the cab and the LED lights for quick visual guidance while digging. Once everything is clipped in and powered on, the system is ready to use. This fast setup saves time and allows operators to start working efficiently without complicated installation.
