The Hickory handle for SIMPLEX splitting axe is made of hickory wood and ergonomic shaped and varnished developed to let the splitting maul be used on either side
Hickory is a type of wood with an extra long fibre structure, which contributes to the great stability of the handle. This structure also keeps the handles from ever breaking in two completely and ensures that both pieces remain connected. This prevents injuries caused by hammer heads that have come off.
May only be installed into cast steel housing 3011.750!
