HOW TO SET UP A GPS TRIPOD
You want to place the tripod in a horizontal position, so you can extend the outer pole to the desired height. Turn it over to a vertical position, and balance it to a set ground point. You then want to extend the legs, so you can kick them into the ground. Make sure you do one leg at a time, so the tripod will stay secure in the correct spot. Turn the center pole until the bubble is facing you, and center it accordingly. Then, center each leg before locking it in place. Install the antenna by removing the plug at the top and screwing it on the bottom. This will allow you to attach the unit to the tripod at the proper place. It has an adjustable pivot that will allow you to move the antenna in a way that will give you optimal results. And when you’re ready to break it down, simply perform each step in the reverse order.
FEATURES OF THE CRAIN TRI-MAX TALL SCREW/DUAL CLAMP TRIPOD
