It comes with a DRO and glass scales, ensuring operator convenience and accuracy. The headstock provides maximum power for roughing cuts and smooth, quiet power for fine finishing, thanks to its helical precision cut, hardened and ground gears that run in a continual bath of oil. The main spindle is made of high alloy steel and mounted in precision taper roller bearings for added stability and accuracy. The control panel is user-friendly and designed for operator convenience. The wide bed ways are made of stabilized cast iron, ground and hardened for a lifetime of use, while the universal gear box delivers a broad range of feed and thread selections, capable of doing both inch and metric threads. All gears are hardened and the shafts turn on anti-friction bearings for consistent and reliable performance.
