The Pro Shot Laser - 10ft Laser Line Laser Rod features a sliding tape marked in feet, tenths, and hundredths, and provides both cut and fill measurements. To use it, place the rod at a known elevation point, adjust the receiver until it indicates an on-grade reading, and align the known elevation with the pointer on the receiver clamp. Lock the tape in place relative to the lower part of the rod. For additional readings, adjust the receiver or the upper rod section until the on-grade signal is achieved, then read the elevation directly from the tape. This design eliminates the need for manual calculations.
