What is the best drafting table?

You want to assemble it where you want to put it, instead of putting it together somewhere else and having to move it. Drawing paper needs to be placed on a drafting table by using a T-square. And once it’s in the right position, it’s attached to the board with masking tape or board clips. The T-square needs to be placed against the edge of the drafting table, and there can’t be any visible gaps. Otherwise, the paper won’t be set up in a way that will allow you to draw accurate horizontal and vertical lines. The paper needs to rest on the T-square before it can be attached to the table, so you can be sure that what you draw is accurate.

To attach a parallel bar to a drafting table, you’ll need to get a piece of nylon twine. Attach one end to the bottom left hook on the table and through the bottom left runner on the parallel bar. Continue the line through the bottom right runner to the top-right hook on the table. Keep running the line through the top left hook, and cross the twine to the bottom left runner. Pull the line across the parallel bar to the bottom right runner and through the top-right hook. Pull the line to make sure it has enough tension, and tie it to the bottom right hook. You also want to make sure the bladed doesn’t slip in any vertical direction before you tie it down.
